City of Albuquerque honors Ben. E. Keith first responders

Albuquerque Police swarmed the Ben. E. Keith warehouse earlier in November responding to reports of an active shooter. Three men were wounded and taken to UNM Hospital. The shooter, Waid Melton, eventually killed himself near Placitas while on the phone with officers.

APD: 1 dead, 2 children injured in NE Albuquerque crash

A man is dead and two children are in the hospital Tuesday night after a crash in northeast Albuquerque, according to police. Albuquerque police spokesman Simon Drobik said the crash happened at Central and Eubank NE, and three people fled on foot from the crash.

‘Prolific serial killer’ confesses to killing Albuquerque woman in the ’70s

Albuquerque Police are looking through their records to see if a woman described by a serial killer, matches any of their cold cases. The man who could be the most prolific serial killer in US history, potentially tied to 90 murders, has just confessed to killing a woman in Albuquerque in 1974. Tuesday, the FBI listed all of the crimes that Samuel Little has confessed to.
